Welcome to Bocuse d´Or Europe Trondheim 2024

Geir Scheie

Geir Skeie – Chairman of the Norwegian Bocuse Academy.

We welcome all candidates and teams to Bocuse d’Or Europe 2024. It is a pleasure for me to welcome you to the competition on 19-20. March 2024.

The first edition of Bocuse d’Or Europe was last held in Norway in 2008 where i won the gold, now it is Trondheim city and region Trøndelag that host the competition. As an established food and gastronomy region with world-class chefs, several of Norway’s best restaurants and cooking schools, the region’s cooking environment is a perfect host for the competition. Trondheim is also known for many local producers from the coast to the mountain.”

Jérôme Bocuse – President of the Bocuse d’Or

“Our Norwegian friends have contributed a great deal to the development and reputation of the competition, and their chefs and supporters are proof of this. We are very happy that the next European selection will take place in Trondheim, Norway. The DNA of the Bocuse d’Or is to highlight the different culinary riches of the world and it is therefore only natural that it moves to a different European city for each edition.”
